I just thought I'd start a thread to ask everyone what kind of music they listen to on a regular basis. Name some bands that are in your CD player or mp3 player lately. I have a pretty wide taste in music so here are just some of what I listen to most often...

-Def Leppard
-Tom Petty
-Pink Floyd
-David Gilmour
-Led Zeppelin
-Nine Inch Nails
-Angels & Airwaves
-Blink 182
-Linkin Park
-Kings of Leon
-Pearl Jam
-Dave Matthews Band
-Green Day
-Foo Fighters
-Third Eye Blind
-Collective Soul
-Dashboard Confessional
-Bob Marley
-Frank Sinatra
-Mozart
-Kid Rock

Out of that list, I used to listen to the first three.

There's also:

AC/DC
Van Halen
U2
The Cars
The Police
The Clash
Queen

and many more....

Those were the good old days. I can't stand today's garbage, and I'm glad I'm too deaf now to care. :D

I recently got David Gilmour's "Remember That Night" DVD (he's from Pink Floyd incase you don't know) and it's amazing, highly suggest. B|

I can't believe no one mentioned the Allman Brothers Band.

They were good too. I watched them in concert at my college 20 years ago. Other bands/singers I saw in concert at my college - Debbie Gibson, U2 and The Ramones.

Add some Albert King, Freddy King, R. L. Burnside, & (either of the) Sonny Boy Williams & you'd have a near perfect mix there!

Me too. I have never really been into him until I got the CrossRoads 07 DVD, and bam, he is the greatest. What a great band he had for that show. I went about bought a few of his older CD's, but nothing is as good as the live 1971 CD............I cannot recall the name but it just simply rocks and it is all live with the mistakes and all! Well, not a lot of mistakes, but it really jams!:)

Live at the Fillmore East is the greatest live recording ever!;):)

I absolutely agree with that. I even have some stuff that they did that was never released including the two songs that I mentioned. They were found in a closet at the family home a number of years ago on a reel to reel tape.
