I was wondering what jobs people on this forum do (apart from sky-diving).

Please do a search and find the "what is your name and what do you do" thread. We did a HUGE thread about a year ago which addresses this same topic.

OK, I did it for you. Click on this link: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=27846

I am a General Manager of a hotel. I am considering doing something different though. I am thinking about going back to school and becoming an Air Traffic Controller and then work as a Skydive Instructor on weekends. I need a lot more jumps and some schooling before this happens so we will see.

hello phil,
welcome to our world!!!
USED to be an IE (industerial engineer) and wanting to find a job again (same field) badly.
sounds like skydiving in your blood. its normal not being able to think about anything but skydiving now that you have done it and want to continue.....
BUT....it cost money to skydive so keep your day job, stay focused and jump your ass off on your days off ;)
Blues Skies,
Tami

I'm a network admin for an investment company in Colorado. I also work at the DZ on weekends organizing the student operations and playing host to all the tandems that come through the door. I'm also the webmaster for Ground-Rush.com, Freefall.com and a couple of the local DZs. I'm not an instructor, AFF or Tandem, so I give back to the sport in the ways I know how...
