honeyjigga 0 #1 April 15, 2008 Hi Guys You know that platform which connects to the back of your boat and while the boat propels forward, you suddenly move up towards the sky to max i think it's 250 feet. Then you connect the bungee cord to you and jump, then a winch reels you in so you can jump again and again. Some European company made this a few years ago, i can't remember who, i think they as well built some inflatable tow able rides for boats, please please help, i have searched everywhere and just cannot find this rig, i can't remember the name. But believe they are some European company. Many thanks in advance

Conundrum 1 #3 April 15, 2008 Um, do you mean parasailing? How do you bungee jump from the back of a boat? I parasailed once on Lake Havasu. I was like 14. You could choose to go 600ft or 1200ft. I was too scared to go to 1200.
honeyjigga 0 #4 April 15, 2008 thanks for the replies i have done parasailing but that's not what i mean, i am after some new device that is actually bungee jumping from a platform that rises from a towline from the back of a boat, a bit like parasailing in how the parachute makes it upwards but then you have a bungee cord attached to you and you jump down 250 feet. you know of this? Edit: sweet just found it, it's actually bungee jumping from 600 feet, what a rush!!! http://www.nordicventures.com/framesets/bungyframeset/bungyframeset.htm anybody done this? I parasailed once, but you weren't able to pick how high you went. Mine was around 250-300 feet. Saying that you opted for 600ft because 1200ft was too scary reminded me of something I heard someone say about parasailing. They said that were afraid of heights, but because parasailing was over water and not land they would be able to do it. If you are hundreds of feet up in the air, and slip out of the harness, landing in the water is not going to result in a better outcome than if you had landed on dry land. Sorta the same way a 600ft. drop will have the same outcome as a 1200ft. drop. There are three types of people in this world; those that can count and those that can't. honeyjigga 0 #8 April 16, 2008 I am so glad i had found this again I just got a boat and i really want to buy this, i remember emailing the company that operates this a few years back and they said this was not for sale. If it can be bought now i would love to have this, imagine making like 50 jumps a day with this, that would really help my adrenaline junkiness

As far as I know, it is illegal to do so without a license. There are three types of people in this world; those that can count and those that can't. What happens if the operator releases the rider for the bungee jump before the para-sail reaches the correct altitude?
