Wait, I did AFF and love getting out at or below 5K. The fear doesn't apply to all AFF trained skydivers, but I have seen more than a few get freaked out over the years. I was trained by Static Line, and I have no qualms about doing 1800 foot hop-n-pops if conditions are right.
