See I thought it was the last name, but wasnt sure, and they say things wicked different, I started spelling and I said "a as in alpha" and it took ten times and finally I said "a as in apple"

I can quickly adapt to an accent, once I know what it is. I had teaching assistants from all over the planet in college.

I was sitting at the Rigger's Convention at the Nationals years ago, waiting for the first presentation. Sitting next to me was a dark-haired, olive-complexioned couple. The guy turned to me and asked something in a heavy accent. I had to ask him to repeat it. He did. I had to ask him to repeat it again. At this moment, the girl held up her left arm, and used her right hand to point to her left wrist:

Then I realized they were Australian. Boy, did I feel stupid.
