michalm21 2 #1 March 16, 2008 Hi! I don't want to get philosophical, just want to create a record I can look at in few years. Recent events threw things at me in a very unusual manner. I came to a realization of great things I can achieve, breaking my life from mediocrity. As a result I reevaluated my life, my goals my desires. I am starting a new life today. I found the following on the net and it's sums it up really well: "I believe people can change in an instant. That doesn't mean we'll lose fifty pounds overnight, or suddenly find members of the opposite sex throwing themselves at our feet. But we can make decisions that move our lives in a new direction. The instant we make those decisions is the instant we change our lives."
meltdown 0 #2 March 16, 2008 Good for you. What that blurb doesn't mention is the commitment and discipline required to change, once the decision to do so has been made. The decision itself is essentially meaningless without the follow through.

Three. He only decided to jump. He didn't follow through. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

Make a decision and begin Great thought but it takes more than that to change. Maybe people should change their habits and not their selves. Its a good idea but hard pursuit. More power to you and hold on to fleeting" feel good "mind farts..-
