jasonRose 0 #1 March 8, 2006 I am working on getting a new resource for smoke grenades for skydivers. But he needs some info before he will allow our little skydiving world to start purchasing them. The smoke grenades are just like the M-18 smoke (which is very hard to find) but without the toxins. I need info on who makes the leg bracket that held the M-18 smoke grenade. Some day I will have the best staff in the world!!!

voodew1 0 #4 March 8, 2006 If you get me the diameter and the dimensions we can make a bracket for what ever you want ------ or a cheesy one that the smoke is held on with a hose clamp. What kind of pricing are you getting and how long is the smoke duration Buying by the case 60 sec smoke with shipping and hazmat charges ends up at 14 per I have ordered some 2 to 3 minute canisters abd they will run $25 each not including the shipping and hazmat so probably about 27 each. If you have a better supplier let me know. Sent you and email with my bracket and pics The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

In an attempt to circumvent the existing language of the law, we're currently testing a suitable skydiver friendly smoke that uses a similar pull to start friction match as on Superior Skydiver Smoke. Units currently developed for testing are an inch or so longer and slightly wider than M-18's with a non metallic casing and a burn time of 90-100 seconds and a cubic foot of smoke per second well in excess of M-18's... Colors used so far are red & blue, the product seems to clean up easier than mil-spec types, and if testing continues as expected, will be available to jumpers in 90-120 days. Cost per unit is still being discussed with the manufacturer, it will depend on the initial order quantity / production run. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
