turtlespeed 221 #1 February 7, 2008 J's thread made me wonder if maybe USPA membership might be the only stipulation that really matters. Even if you don't jump anymore BUT you still receive the USPA magazine, Parachutist, maybe you should still be allowed to post here.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
BillyVance 34 #2 February 7, 2008 If you need USPA membership, that'll eliminate a lot of the foreign jumpers... No need to do that, besides, what'll we do without some of the Brits' dry humor? futuredivot 0 #3 February 7, 2008 That makes sense-at least a USPA card can be considered proof that you like having smoke blown up your butt so the converations here won't faze you a bit You are only as strong as the prey you devour

eeneR 3 #5 February 7, 2008 This is all quite hilarious as I know some regular jumpers who do a fantastic job of making TONS of BS noise on here She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
cjunken 0 #6 February 7, 2008 I thought one of the purposes of the site was to allow individuals (me) to learn about the sport before I went off and did something stupid. I always take the advice with a grain of salt, but I believe just gettin in here and hearing whats happening in the industry is useful. This site has verified for me that I do want to become more involved. I also believe that there is a large group of people like me.
Jewels 0 #7 February 7, 2008 Wait a minute--what if you have issues with the USPA? NOT having a membership might be more valid proof of being a skydiver. TPM Sister #

JustChuteMeNow 0 #18 February 7, 2008 Quote I thought one of the purposes of the site was to allow individuals (me) to learn about the sport before I went off and did something stupid. This site is certainly used for this purpose but the bonfire is for non-skydiving related items. The introduction and greets forum as well as General Skydiving forum are better places to start learning about the sport. That said I think the bonfire is a great tool to meet friends in the sport before going to the DZ. Welcome to the sport. Think of how stupid the average person is and realize that statistically half of them are stupider than that.

shermanator 4 #22 February 8, 2008 Because why? It really is a silly suggestion, for several reasons. The owner is not in the states, though I don't know if he is a uspa member or not. there are others here from out of the states, there are non uspa dropzones, with non uspa members, its just.. silly. just silly. ... does that explanation qualify me for being past the one liner post?
