Duckwater 0 #52 July 24, 2006 Update - Final Update. A year or so after talking to my birth father on the phone (1 night stand so he is just a sperm donor) I flew to LA 2 weeks ago to see my Grandma. I decided to give him a call again. I met him and my half brother at his house. It was really cool, we all agreed that we are not family and that it was just nice to meet. We drank wine and beer and just talked. (I know why I like red wine so much now) He took me out to a really nice dinner the next night. It turned out as cool as it possibly could have.. I dont think I look like him much though..... http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/duckwater/91260f4f.jpg

Duckwater 0 #56 February 4, 2008 as if this story couldnt get any stranger...My sister, also adopted at birth 35 years ago, was contacted by her biological mother on new years eve. We both knew nothing of our biological parents, and we were both found by them at age 35. What are the chances?? I can't win the lotto!

jtval 0 #58 February 4, 2008 I'm not sure how I missed this thread for all the times you updated it but thanks for posting it. It seems like you have a well adjusted reaction to the meetings and relationships. Glad you could answer the questions and I hope your sister has at least as good an experience as you did. PS. I see alot of your features in you birth mom. and I think you have your birth dads' nose and mouth. At least thats what I see in the pics you posted. Congrats and thanks for sharing. EDIT: Dont feel so bad about choosing your own family (your friends) I think we all do that.My photos My Videos
