Guys: breast implants for your girl?

A friend of mine is getting breast implants on Monday. She's recently divorced and has a new boyfriend that really thinks she would look good with a D-cup - she's relatively thin and tall and quite pretty.

Guys - would you want your wife/girlfriend to get implants?

Personally, I think it's disgusting. The only reason I think they're acceptable is for women that have had to undergo mastectomy. Although I am one of those (seemingly rare) guys that like small breasts, and that may have something to do with it.

Or maybe it was the disturbing images I remember from the 80s and 90s of silicon implants rupturing and the resulting surgery and claims of silicon-induced poisoning. It's also interesting that silicon implants are back! I thought they only used saline these days, but starting on November 17, 2006, the FDA approved silicone gel implants:

Nope, my wife doesn't need them and even if she thought she did, nope. I dated a woman with HUGE breasts for awhile and used to wake up with a back ache every morning from arching so hard all night when she was spooning me. No offense to the big breasted women out there, or the men who like em big. Just not for me. Show me a nice set of legs and a nice ass. As for implants, well it all seems pretty vain to me. Debra Messing could maybe use a little more up top, but even so she is still a very sexy woman in my book. I also think your friend should rethink her new relationship if that is all her new boyfriend is worrying about. Just my opinion and opnions are like assholes. Everybody has one.

small, big(but good shape) is all fine with me. my wife had them when we met...her sister's boyfriend too insisted that her sister get them...but he was trying to make my wifes sister look like pamela anderson...died hair, boobs, high heals all the time...that relationship didnt last long.

so, these have been done...she was an A cup, but now is a C...i think they are great!

A tall, skinny gal getting supersized to D-cups, though?? That's just plain stupid. It will cause medical problems when she's in her 50's due to the strain those will put on her back I'd say.

Implants are under the muscle, so the breast are shaped as original, just a bit larger.

Obviously this is a big hypothetical because it's not like women are swarming all over me but the following thoughts come to mind.

If a woman I am with is so fucked up that only big boobs would make her tolerable to be around then I'll pass. Yes, I know I will have my guy card suspended for saying that.

If have big boobs is all that is standing in the way of a woman becoming a "perfect" woman then, IMO, she's already perfect.

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally love boobs but consider them as being not even on the radar screen when thinking of things that make a relationship work for more than a week or two.

How long has she known this guy???

If I were her friend, I'd be having a little heart to heart with her about the decision. Has she talked about getting implants with you before? Is this something she's thought about or has it just come up because the new "Mr. Wonderful" thinks it's a good idea.

I'd never get breast implants but I'm not against someone getting them if it's for the right reasons. To me, this doesn't seem to be the "right reason". If you want to get them for YOU that's one thing. If you've thought about for a while, then great. If you're getting them to make someone else happy, that's a whole different ball game.

And to echo what ryoder said ... the relationship probably won't last but those fake boobs will live on forever.

I'd try and talk to your friend about this before she makes a decision she'll regret.
