porterhouse 0 #1 April 5, 2006 Does anyone know where I can obtain a slider stow for my Mirage or how I can build one? My slider won't stay down below my head, unless I tilt my head almost all the way back. Obviously, this isn't a viable option for the long term. Any advice would be greatly appreciated? Thanks. outlawphx 1 #2 April 5, 2006 Most swoopers in Eloy with Mirages do a bungee around the top reserve flap, and then attach a plastic ball and a rubber band to the bungee. Do a search in the swooping forum, and you'll find some more detailed explainations.

idoru99 0 #7 April 5, 2006 I've got these swen into both my Mirage and my Wings. I love them. I've never had the slider move on me and it stas just behond my head. I like the fact that my main isn't connected to my container in more than 2 spots (the 3 rings). <><><><><><><><><><><> The greatest risk you take in life is the risk you don't take. A2C 0 #8 April 6, 2006 Just get the front riser grommets down first. Make upper side of the slider get the wind. No alteration needed.
blitzkrieg 0 #9 April 7, 2006 it is way too easy to make a velcro patch with some light webbing to loop around your reserve flap. i've made tons of them and give them to people all the time. it's easier and faster than messing around with that damn ball and rubber band.. if you can't make one, ask your rigger. not to say that it's impossilbe... but if you're really going to take the time to velcro down your slider before you decide to cutaway... you might have time to unfasten the velcro if you feel it's necessary.
