If it is intentional, I've made that clear to the sender before I ever got that one last communication. Trust me, if you are unable to send me a PM, it does not mean I want to receive an email or phone call from you. Otherwise, it's just a) I'm overwhelmed or b) I'm depressed. I find it much easier to post than to PM. A PM (in most cases) requires me to put a fair amount of time and thought into a single individual. Often, it is those people I care about the most who have to wait the longest. And sometimes I respond to people I have no interest in just because I'm trying really hard not to be rude. Finally, it has happened that people I fully intended to reply to got buried under a slew of incoming messages, and I didn't even find them again until days later. OTOH, a round of PMs or emails has to come to an end sometime. If it's the 15th exchange on a single subject, do you really want a reply? rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. I randomly send out pm's to people - birthday wishes, if we are going to be showing up at someone's home dz, get better, thanks for sharing info and sometimes I will ask questions....ect. Sometimes people respond, sometimes they don't - just varies.
