jtval 0 #27 January 23, 2008 Close but no. Silvia didnt submit. Mir had him in an armbar but silva didn't tap. His forearm broke and the ref stopped the fight. Silvia wanted to continue. Silvia is a tough bitch but his fights are boring. I don't know if there was any correlation but shortly after that fight Tim (silvia) was suspended for roids. shortly after THAT Frank Mir was riding his motorcycle down sahard Blvd in Vegad and some lady T-boned him. The title eventually was taken from Mir because of his extended absence. If he loses, everyone will say "of course he lost, he doesn't belong in the UFC." And if he wins, everyone will say "of course he won, Mir's all busted up, this doesn't prove anything."
