AggieDave 6 #3 January 18, 2008 Its the daily 2130 FREAKOUT!!! The Dude (His Dudeness, El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing) is roaming all over the living room area doing things he knows he isn't supposed to do because he wants to go outside. He's not allowed outside unsupervised anymore since he will go over the fence but isn't smart enough to come back across. He'll sit on the otherside of the fence meowing until one of us comes and rescues him. Katie is following Dude around and pouncing him when he's not looking. You've got to understand that The Dude is a HUGE long haired cat that weighs around 30lbs. Katie is your average North American short hair that weighs around 12lbs. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Just give The Dude a saucer of half-and-half with a splash of Kahlua and a few drops of vodka, and he'll be fine."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Zing 2 #12 January 18, 2008 Both of mine are snuggled up in my favorite chair, but the way they are staring at me, I suspect they're plotting which part of me they'll eat first if I keel over dead and no one comes to fill up their food bowl.Zing Lurks
Shell666 0 #13 January 18, 2008 One has skulked past the dog and gone upstairs to bed. The other one is sitting at the patio doors waiting to go outside (which isn't happening). Oh wait, the one that was waiting at the patio doors is now eating the dog food. And the big white cat (AKA the dog) has left the room and is probably curled up in the living room waiting for me to got to bed so he can come too. Either that or he's eaten the cat that skulked past him. Guess I'm done here. Nite nite. 'Shell
NWFlyer 2 #14 January 18, 2008 Last I heard (about 2 minutes ago), Franklin (Gato Diablo) was attacking Daisy (Itty Bit). She responded with her usual enthusiasm (growling, hissing, and howling). This was followed by what sounded like an entire team of ten-year olds playing soccer on my hardwood floors, even though there is less than 10 pounds (combined) of house cat downstairs. Remarkably, nothing (material possession or house cat) is broken."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. bivar 0 #16 January 18, 2008 I guess that they are either Hanging around, taking a nap, watching television, ripping apart my kid's stuffed animals, contemplating about the mysteries of life, or they could simpy be exhausted after running around the house all night long. hobie331 0 #19 January 18, 2008 Buddy Ray(cat) is asleep on the bed next to Rolex(dog) George(cat) is standing in hall trying to figure out if it's safe to jump across Booger(dog, St. Bernard) to get into the bedroom. Barnes and Noble(both cats) are asleep on the weight bench in the basement. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.

LisaM 0 #21 January 18, 2008 Since I am at work they are probably roaming the kitchen counter tops or sleeping on the placemats. Last night Miss Maya was bugging my son while he was doing his homwork. I also call her Miss Trouble. And the other day I decided she needed a middle name for when I was scolding her for thinking it was ok to go on the kitchen cabinets while I was finding homes for the pots and pans in the new house.
