lauraliscious 0 #52 January 17, 2008 Quote What kind of person applies for a reality show anyways. Okay, so I applied for the Amazing Race a few years ago. Which is not even near the same category as Cheaters (or the Moment of Truth, for that matter). If I didn't think I could handle it, I wouldn't have applied. I agree with Sartre, it is sad that people get enjoyment out of other people's misery. But I really don't feel sorry for the people that chose to air out all their relationship woes on TV. Or over the internet, for that matter. Enemiga Rodriguez, PMS #369, OrFun #25, Team Dirty Sanchez #116, Pelt Head #29, Muff #4091

NWFlyer 2 #55 January 17, 2008 My friend Karl and I were going to apply for Amazing Race - he does triathlons - we figured we had a good angle - the Ironman and the skydiver chick. But we also figured they'd try to trump up some bogus sexual tension angle between the two of us even though there's never been any. BillyVance 34 #58 January 21, 2008 Quote I agree. Cheaters is ONE of the stupidist shows on TV. Actually most TV sucks. Except for TLC, History Channel and PBS. One show that I think is stupid would be the Cash Cab. How the fuck is that going to work for me if I was in NYC and just happened to get into that cab? One show I caught a few episodes of and want to watch more of, would be Fight Quest. I also enjoy watching Mythbusters and Ghost Hunters."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
Muenkel 0 #59 January 21, 2008 I completely agree. 180 channels and I just scan and scan. The other day I watched a show on how ice skates are made. Directv recently notified me that my 1 year free of Starz was about to expire. I don't think I've watched a single movie on Starz. The DVR is good as it lets you record whatever and watch at your convenience. I record Frazier, Friends, Seinfeld and Spin City. I don't actually watch all the episodes that record, but they're there if I want them. _________________________________________ Chris
