I have a question does anyone know how many slots in the apex can be sewn shut before the opening sequence is affected.The reason being I want the canopy to land a little softer. The fabic is all 1.55 O-P special made for me in 1980 the apex is 1.1.I have got the gary lewis book on the PC and thats all I have. any competatant help would be appreciated

It's kind of like the Peter Principle; start sewing them up & when the last one lands you hard, take it back out & there'll you'll be.

Actually, I haven't a clue.

What are you a PHAT ASS or something.
No really how much do you weight and how long has it been since you jumped it, I get soft stand ups under a MK-1 and really soft stand ups under a 27ft russian and I'm 220 to 230 out the door, then again the canopies I jump are well cared for and not worn out, but as old as sparky. LOL
Just take a big dump before you jump and you'll be fine.

No I am only 200 out the door and the canopy is like new less than twenty jumps,but I wanted a little softer just for my knees. I have about 2500 PC jumps thats why I want softer.

I kind of thought you had done your share looking
at your numbers.
If all else fails wrap the knees and don't forget to take a big dump before you jump, and a little wind is your friend.
