AirWhore 0 #4 January 10, 2008 Yes you can drive without a license in some states as long as you have an active military ID card. No you can't drive in any state without a license.. There is that better...

Andy_Copland 0 #6 January 10, 2008 No there is a guy in 82nd Airborne who is sneaking around our home at night because he cant deal that his ex wife has moved on. And to put it simply it wont be funny when i choke him to death, im not happy right now and been on the phone to his 1st SGT and police. Its not funny in the slightest because someone is going to get hurt. Edit: He has stolen her car.1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Andy_Copland 0 #8 January 10, 2008 Already done. Id rather get to him first though. We have kept letters he put under the windshield wipers. I've been driving her to work every morning as she's so scared. The guy ran her off the road before.1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. soulshine 0 #10 January 10, 2008 If he is in the military keep bothering his chain of command. If the 1Sgt isn't doing anything, ask for the commander. Be persistant and keep calling. Document everything! Every phone call, names, dates, times, and keep a detailed report of all incidents. I've had to get restraining orders before and it's a real bitch sometimes. Once you obtain one you'll have a bit more leverage to get him arrested for breaking the restraining order Good luck. Richards 0 #12 January 10, 2008 Quote And to put it simply it wont be funny when i choke him to death, . Probably not a good idea to state this sort of thing on an internet forum. It could come back to haunt you even if you act in genuine self defence. Other than that Soulshine said it best. Document everything and be the squeaky wheel with the authorities. One this will encourage them to intervene and two it will work in your favour if anything happens. I am no lawyer but in these situations even if i feel I can control the guy I usually like to state in any formal complaint (for the record) that I am quite scared for my safety and that it is causing me great stress. It may work in ones advantage in a marginal self defence case. I sympathise because the law allows nuts like this to seize the initiative. Best of luck My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within. ACMESkydiver 0 #13 January 10, 2008 Quote Edit: He has stolen her car. File a stolen car report. HOWEVER...if the vehicle had/has both of their names on title, even if the divorce gave it to her, you're not going to get the police to do anything. I was a dumb teenager once and bought a car with my boyfriend. I paid for it. I put his name on it with me (like I said, DUMB teenager ). He took it one night after we had broke up, and though I was paying for it, the police wouldn't go get him because he hadn't 'stolen' anything. Fucker wasn't going to make any payments or tell me where my car was. He brought it back to me after he wrecked it a few weeks or so later. Fucking prick.~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
Andy_Copland 0 #14 January 10, 2008 His first SGT is an arse. I spoke to him last night, i said "I dont give a fuck about her car, i just want you to garuntee me you can keep your soldier away from her, she is terrified." He did not take me seriously at all, i told him about him sleeping in his car outside her apartment one day and following her to work, he then drove on the wrong side of the road screaming at her to pull over and rammed her car. He was so arrogant on the phone and said "well did you witness it?" knowing i didnt and obviously thinking i was making up stories. His tone changed when i said "No i didnt, but the old man she was giving a ride to work who he threatened would be a good witness." They are sticking together.1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue.

Beerlight 0 #18 January 10, 2008 my bad. If his first sergeant isn't cooperating, and you feel this will come to something serious, I suggest going straight to the top. Call his post commanding officer. I'm sure you can find a name on the web. Trust me, that will start a serious ball-o-shit rolling down toward said soldier...............
