Your average paraffin candle melts at around 125F, and "soft" paraffin (i.e. mixed with mineral oil, as it often is) melts around 115F. Beeswax candles melt hotter, and candles with hardeners in them (like some decorative candles) melt hotter still. You can get any temp you want.
