From the East side of Silver Star up thru Indian Heaven the terrrain is not that bad.. the old trees there at that time... would have been preferable for a landing than in a clear cut at night. I think he survived.. he was a criminal.. but I think he got away with it. I too think he survived and I do not think he did it for the money-I think he did it for fun!!! In fact he probably ditched the money asap! And he knew damn well that the money was marked, who would not? What ever happened to him, what a great adventure!
