CazmoDee 3 #13 December 25, 2007 The litttle paper hats/crowns come in the Christmas crackers. One persons grabs each end and pulls. kind of like a wish bone. The person with the bigger end gets to keep the prize inside. Most are just cheap little plastic trinkets. Some can be quite nice though. We bought two boxes of Christmas crackers today. shropshire 0 #15 December 25, 2007 Putting quality items in a cracker exactly misses the point of them by a country mile. They are s'posed to be as naff as possible, that's the point. (.)Y(.) WI-Fly 0 #23 December 25, 2007 Well the history from driving on the left side of the road has to do with the old militarys of the past. In Britian back in the day, like castle days, the streets were very narrow. As troops marched down streets they were so close to buliding they could not pull out there swords. Since most people are right handed they marched on the left side of the road to make room for the swords. Traffic follwed there patterns and as the way of moving changed through time they stayed on the left side...

Now I'm not a swordsman, but aren't right handed people going to have their scabbard on the left hip? So if they're on the left side of the road, near the castle, their sheathed swords, in their scabbards, would be hitting the castle wall. Right? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
