Ashkit 0 #26 December 19, 2007 I quit in 1987 so did my husband but he picked it back up about 4 years ago.. He wanted to quit and couldn't seem to make even a few hours. He said for me to find him a place to go to quit, I looked online of course. He went to a Detox retreat in Georgia over a month ago called Mandala Something or another and hasn't smoked ever since, he said it was real hard but he is glad he did it. The cost was about $1,450.00 plus the plane fare. Over all, whenever he even thought of smoking he would calculate how much money he was saving not smoking and compare that to the cost of quiting and then calculate when the trip would be paid for by him not buying cigs and say to himself, "I can start smoking again at that time" Cause I'd never let him live it down if he started and wasted all that money... But it was well worth it, and so is his health.. and so is yours... Whether you think you can or can't either way you're right!
JSBIRD 1 #27 December 19, 2007 Quit cigs in October 1981, before they hit $1 a pack. However, I still enjoy the indo. BASE359"Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"
