wildfan75 1 #1 December 17, 2007 I just had to start the thread 'cause after two weekends of unjumpable weather, we FINALLY got to skydive!!!! It was a beautiful, sunny, sort of warm (16F) day on Saturday in Chippewa Falls, WI. The crap was back on Sunday (1500' ceilings).

L.O. 0 #11 December 17, 2007 Lynn made a mistake , but she is just very excited. This weekend was the end of a three weekend draught. No jumps for almost three weeks. I was also very pumped to be back in the sky after so long. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.
Baksteen 84 #12 December 17, 2007 :1:0 Just one meagre measly jump - and I landed off as well, b/c I didn't notice until too late that jump run was 180 degrees in the wrong direction . (I was the last one out) Still, it was the first time in three weeks that the weather permitted jumping, so as a result I fell a lot less crabby than I did the past two weeks. I didn't make anymore jumps cuz #100 is approaching, and I want to do something special. Clueless what it'll be, but something anyway."That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
piisfish 140 #13 December 17, 2007 -15 ; 3 ; 0 -15 = temperature on exit (in C) 2 tracking and 1 freefly. Despite trackjumps during longer, they are far more "temperature affordable" than freefly jumpsscissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
countzero 7 #14 December 17, 2007 0:4:0 a tracking dive, a H&P, a 22 way and a 16 way. neither of the big ways got fully completed but it was sure fun trying.diamonds are a dawgs best friend
monkycndo 0 #15 December 17, 2007 0:0:0 No jumping, but did spend the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting my brother. He scored some hard to get tickets and we were able to see the Christmas program performed by the MorMen Tabernacle Choir with guest singers "The Kings Singers". The building & pipe organ was remarkable and the show was incredible. They sang the 12 days of Christmas and it took all the restraint I had to not bust out singing the the 12 days of Lost Prairie. I don't think the LDS folks would have found it funny.Even got to finally meet up with DSE. It's true what they say about him. He has a beautiful wife. He on the other hand.... 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
gavi_omen 0 #16 December 17, 2007 I still don't know if I'm gonna be around for New Years. Sounds like fun though. There's no such thing as free will; everything is dictated by the Uncertainty Principle.
brianfry713 0 #17 December 17, 2007 It feels good to jump again after 3 months off due to a busted fibula B.A.S.E. jumping. I upsized from a 135 to a 168, and slid in the no-wind landings on my ass in soft dirt. I was a little rusty but had a great time freeflying and hanging out in Davis. Nice meeting ya Squeak.(I know he's still banned, but he's probably looking over someone's shoulder reading posts.)Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.
