AFF/AFP graduation

Recommended Posts

Planning on doing my graduation jump and maybe my low solo on friday. Should I bring a case of beer to celebrate with the guys at the dropzone? Not sure about the customs on this kinda thing. I definitely see these people more than my friends though.

Or would a bottle of gray goose maybe be better?

Blue skies and wish me luck!

As NW stated there are rules about this kind of thing. However... you do always have the option of contesting the rules at any time. This simply means that you go to the S&TA or DZO and plead your case. On their honor, they will carefully consider all aspects of the ruling and evidence, and then summarily rule against you. Genarally speaking, the penalty is a case.

Beer in mind, the spirit of the rules is multifold: 1) Opportunity for introductions of the fledglings to the experienced folks *what kind of experience is debatable*, B) provides an opportunity for the inexperienced to gain experience and learn from those who have walked the path *again, the type of experience is debatable*, and Last but not least) Keeps the fridge stocked. There really IS a wealth of information to be learned just by hanging around the DZ... I've always considered it $$$ well spent.

If you happen to be a non-drinker, it's generally acceptable to provide a case on non-alcoholic beverages.
Randomly f'n thingies up since before I was born...
