bertusgeert 1 #1 December 7, 2007 I'm going down to FL next Wednesday. I want to get recurrent with skydiving, and also scuba. I have done everything but my open water dive, and hope to complete that in FL. What are the regs and reqs between the two in terms of pressure change? --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei! PhreeZone 20 #3 December 7, 2007 Min of 24 hours, more depending on depth and time on bottom. If you are down for too long or deep you need to avoind jumping for up to 48 hours.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
Hausse 0 #4 December 7, 2007 I'd avoid long deco dives before jumping but that shouldn't be a problem if you do your OWD and like everybody said don't get in the plane in less than 24h before flying. If you know what you are doing you could use a deco planer to get the exact times of not flying. And even though I wouldn't risk anything, if you mess up and get deco problems you can still jump
squirrel 0 #5 December 8, 2007 Remember that the Dive tables are based on theory, that is, they are not exact. So, how one dive effects two different people is in reality, unkown. Play it safe, Jump, then dive, and, enjoy. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?
