Yes, but we're going for a record number of deleted threads without any bannings today.:P
Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

Probably 4th. As soon as I posted, I saw NickDG had beaten me by a few seconds, so I deleted mine.

>>Suffered from premature activation on THAT one!
I saw a video once where Evel goes off on his rigger guy for messing up. But I think the parachute was deployed via a Dead Man's switch. That made sense in case Evel was knocked out at some point. All he had to do was let go of the lever or switch, or whatever it was, and the deployment would commence.

I think either his hand slipped, or the launch surprised him, and he let go.

Not much of a matter though, he had the cobs to climb into that thing and let them fire it . . .

NickD :)

Right on dude.
The guy had the balls to do shit no one else would even try!

I'd like to see someone take one of those old Harley's & jump 100 ft these days.
I am NOT being loud.
I'm being enthusiastic!

he caught Hep C from a blood transfusion after an accident. I'm sure blood banks are more careful nowadays

Yes they are, but it still does happen. They do test for it. The fastest growing group of people getting Hep c today is from tatoos and piercings. This is a horrible thing to deal with, has no side effects other than being tired until the liver is almost gone. If you have tats or piercings please get tested. The life you save maybe your own :(
