skyPrincess2002 0 #27 May 22, 2006 We had gear stolen in January in So. Cal, and thought it was gone for good. There was a happy ending to our story.......all of our gear was recovered two weeks ago thanks to someone at Square 1. Our gear has been in a storage unit since stolen. Someone bought the storage unit (the rent had not been paid - and in California after 60 days it is auctioned). Some guy - not the thief, was trying to sell our gear and the WONDERFUL employee at Square1 called in the serial numbers to find that they were stolen. She called the police and they confiscated our stuff and now we are waiting to pick it up from the Police Dept. At the time it was stolen, the police officer that took our report told us we would most likely never see it again. Of course after 5 months - I didn't think we would either. More patience needed. I hope the ending to this story is they catch the person who stole it and put them in jail for a very long time. Good luck in getting your gear back. It is a horrible feeling to realize it is gone. I know. Just hope you have the same luck as we did.
