TrophyHusband 0 #4 December 3, 2007 we were actually on the oregon side of the mouth of the columbia (inside the bar). i also saw a few while clam digging, but they were females. i thawed some out and had them for dinner tonight. this is the first time i haven't eaten them fresh. they were pretty good, but nothing like fresh. Richards 0 #5 December 3, 2007 Does anybody know the regulations/laws on this in Vancouver? Size? Crabs gender? limit? I have seen people in white rock crabbing and always wanted to try but never got around to it, but I am going there this christmas? My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.
TrophyHusband 0 #6 December 3, 2007 i don't know the canadian regs, but if you go across the straight into washington, the limit for dungoness is 5 and they must be male and 6 1/4 inches. the limit for red rock crab is 6 of either sex and must be 5 inches.
