I was going to start an unethical online/phone order company that sold gift certificates for a few different fun adventure type sports, but I found out that there was already another company that was screwing everyone involved so I guess that one is out. I guess I'll stick to making my living ethically and jumping my butt off.

I agree with Pop here, skydivers are a very close nit group, and while we all might not like one another, we are still one big dysfunctional family. What is the big deal with letting us know who you are? Im inclined to think that you are a troll and dont even jump. There are plenty of forums out there that you can post on. This one is not made up of a bunch of random people. I doubt if anyone on here knows everyone who posts here, but it guaranteed that we are all linked together in at least one way. So either fill out your user profile or go away...;)

Thats the beautiful thing about this country. Free enterprise. Competition is a good thing. Go for it, from what I have read in your posts you strike me as the type that would be very successful at starting and running such a company.

Good luck to ya.

If there's anything that recent modern history (last 200 years) has taught us is that unethical businesses never fully succeed. Not in the historical sense. Although many have brought about change in new legislation and popular perception of what is truly acceptable. Ironically enough some of those companies had a cult-like mentality within their company's culture. The company can do no wrong, etc. All the way till the end when everyone took their "jesus juice" and the problem went away.

And on THAT note, I'd like to talk a bit about a subject very near and dear to me...mandatory RSL use for people wearing blue helmets...your thoughts Dave?

Well, if they're under command of people that make them wear the blue helmets, then they already have RSLs most likely, but no pilot chutes since that piece of gear is still in committee and are being held up by some little country with a grudge.:D

It all depends on the color of the RSL. Does a it match the helmet? After all, its all about how good you loook while doing it B|B|

Since that piece of gear is still in committee, do you think pilot chutes will ever catch on with the teva group, or do you think that an ice cream fax machine will work better under summer time free-fall conditions?

Color IS important when choosing an RSL, that's a given...

PINK is a safe AND attractive color IMHO....your thoughts? :)

Pink is safe, but statistiacally you are better off with a turquoise RSL. They tend to be more reliable, and chicks dig them.
