Free Hugs

Recommended Posts

Yes, I realize that this has been posted before. But It's an actual web site this time, instead of just a "YouTube" video. And with the holiday season steadily breathing down our necks, the stress, frustration and loneliness seems to get to a lot of us. Who can't use a hug? And it's probably one of the few things we will give/receive that is totally free. :)
I'm thinking seriously about making myself a shirt that says "FREE HUGS" and wearing it out to my little craft business. It would be interesting to see how many people take me up on it. Particularly since a major portion of the clientele out there are Hispanic.

Good Idea!! I might need to take the "los" out of it, though. When I put it into the translator, it told me "free the hugs." :D

Of course, if I did it in Spanish, then the English speaking folks wouldn't understand it. :S

And then there's the folks that believe that anyone in this country should speak English, not Spanish. And I'm sure someone might complain I'm catering to them and encouraging them not to "conform." Hmmm....sounds like a political landmine to me. B|

Edited to add: No, no, no! Please don't move this to the Speaker's Corner. :o

German is still spoken opening in some smaller towns in Central Texas as well...who cares. The reality of Texas is that there are a lot of spanish speakers and english speakers and those who can't speak either very well at all.:D

Thanks!...I think. ;) When I put it into the translator, it said, "Cuddling Free." I think THAT might get me into some trouble. :D

I found this when I tried "Free Hugs" in the translator.

I wore a shirt that said "Be kind to animals, hug a hockey player". It was back in the day in high school (when i had stomach muscles) but damn, I didn't know there were that many women that wanted to hug me.:$

That reminds me of the time i wore boxers that had lipstick prints all over them to a party Chicks were going down on me left and right adding more prints to my shorts.:o:S
