BillyVance 34 #1 November 15, 2007 I watch it from time to time, just whenever I remember that it's on Wednesday nights. Some good stuff there. They even do a live investigation on Halloween night. Last year it was the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, which was the scene of the movie The Shining, and this year it was a sanatorium in Louisville, KY. I've seen some freaky footage from their cameras, but TAPS is not the first investigative team I've seen on TV. Even then, I've seen far more scarier footage from other documentaries that couldn't be explained. That notwithstanding, I've never really experienced anything paranormal. Always been intrigued. Brittentay 0 #2 November 15, 2007 we turned it on one night on accident and got sucked into 4 or 5 episodes back to back. kind of melo-dramatic at times, but the show does a great job of sucking the viewer in. never had a paranormal experience, but definitely believe!!! MagicGuy 0 #5 November 15, 2007 I try to watch it whenever I can. Both Grant Wilson (co-founder of TAPS) and Dave Tango are personal friends of mine. I've always had a huge interest in the paranormal. I've never really had an experience but absolutely believe in ghosts. Some of the stuff that both Grant and Dave have told me about, combined with a lot of the stuff I've read about convinces me that there is definitely some freaky shit out there! 2fat2fly 0 #6 November 15, 2007 I don't think the show is that good-but the sound effects are amazing Oh, made it back to bama-Dothan now, Montgomery by dinner I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
Casie 0 #7 November 15, 2007 Jake and I watch that show all the time - we luv it!!!! Tell Dave and Grant to keep up the good work : ) i still think my favorite eposide - forgive me as i can't remember where they were - was when grant was staying in one of the haunted rooms and they caught on video the bedspread moving above his foot (exposing his foot) as the haunting had a fetish with feet and the closet door in front of the bed kept opening. pretty cool stuff!~Porn Kitty WARNING: Goldschlager causes extreme emotional outbursts! Depends on what you mean by paranormal.Since the subject is ghosts: Never seen one. I love the idea of them, though. I love all things spooky. I'm so curious and, while curiosity killed the cat, I'm still never shy to jump in and get my feet wet when others are shaking in their britches. I hit up all the local ghost things as a teen but, nadda.Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

There were some really good doozies. Remember the penitentiary? Whoa... And that trip to the castle in Ireland. Saw some really good black or gray masses moving through the corridors and rooms. Also the St. Augustine lighthouse when they looked straight up from the bottom and saw what looked like a man leaning over the very top balcony to look at them and pull back. They ran up to find nothing but a padlocked door, and the motion sensor tripped the lights on when they got close. There were some scary moments too, once in a while they ran into a mean spirit. Grant got a burning sensation on the back of his shoulder as if someone held a lighted match to his skin. Nobody saw anything and he didn't brush or touch his back across anything, but there the red welt was. There's a local paranormal society based about 20 miles east in Oxford, AL. Thinking about giving them a call to see if I can tag along on one of their investigations. MagicGuy 0 #11 November 16, 2007 They will probably let you tag along actually. Seems like groups like that would want to educate people and at the same time, scout for new talent and members. I agree about the castle in Ireland - crazy!! And one of the earlier episodes where the equipment guy literally got swept off of his feet by something.. really weird. Yeah I saw that in their Revelations episode, where they pieced together the best of their work. Somebody also got hammered outside, just basically slammed to the ground. Ouch. England, Scotland and Ireland have some of the most haunted places in the world. Stirling Castle is one of the scariest, and I believe possibly holds the record for the most number of documented spirits, but I'd have to go back and research it again. Those places go back to the middle ages easy. Those were some really cruel times with thousands of people dying horrible deaths, so it makes sense."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
ffejdraga 0 #13 November 16, 2007 Not a beliver, or a disbeliever really, however... There was a hilarious episode of Penn and Teller's "Bullshit" that delves into the world of the paranormal...it was so effin funny. I highly recommend it. jeff D-16906
Casie 0 #14 November 16, 2007 I think the other night around 10:00 or so (we recorded it) was their show on the 20 most memorable shows or things they've caught. we haven't watched it yet, but i'm sure sometime this weekend we will. i do remember all those episodes you were referencing- CRAZY stuff indeed.~Porn Kitty WARNING: Goldschlager causes extreme emotional outbursts! monkycndo 0 #15 November 16, 2007 Its weird. Every time I try and watch it, my TV just turns itself off. Can't explain it. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
Katzeye 0 #16 November 16, 2007 I used to love Ghost Hunters - first season mainly. But now it all seems to trite. Both those guys have sold out and all their investigations are so -- formula ---. Bores me to tears now. Is a chicken omelette redundant?
