Romolus 0 #1 May 18, 2006 Hey everyone I'm looking for a fullface helmet that would fit a head size 62cm or 24 3/8. I know that paratec makes one called FREEZR, have anyone tried it? Is their any other possibilities? Blue skies
AggieDave 6 #2 May 18, 2006 I have the same sized head. The only fullface that I've put on that fit well is the Mamba by Bonehead. XXL. The only helmets I've found that fit my head well are Protecs or Bonehead helmets. The others helmets are too small.. Edit: The link to the product name is not put in place by me, infact it goes to the wrong site, since there is more then one product in the market place with that name.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Eagle7 0 #6 May 18, 2006 I got a big head and glasses and the FreeZR works for me. I definitely recommend you try different helmets. If you go with the FreeZR be careful with the visor. It will crack if you are not careful with it. I cracked my visor once and replaced it. I am careful when opening it now and I have no complaints. mnealtx 0 #7 May 18, 2006 *Nodding and agreeing with Dave* I've got a large noggin meself, and the Bonehead M amba fits me nicely. I've heard good things about the FreeZR as well. Either would probably suit you well. If you're able, see if you can try on examples of both to see how they overall fit is for you.Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. P-dro 0 #11 May 20, 2006 Hello, I am in a similar situation, only worse (63cm or 24 6/8), I am about to order a FreeZR. All my previous attempt have been unsuccessful (Parasport Z1 XXL, PhoenixFly Stinger XL). I wrote to Bonehead, but they didn't think the Mamba would fit me I'll let you know how the Paratec fits... aileron 0 #12 June 2, 2006 I've got a pretty big melon (23.5") too. I tried on an Oxygn A3 and it wouldn't even go over my nose. I bought a FreeZR with size L pads and it fits snug; I wouldn't want it to fly off in freefall. You don't feel claustrophobic in it either, and it has great panoramic field of vision. My opinion is that the FreeZR is "top of the line" in RW helmets. I also bought a BH Mindwarp for FF'ing and it fits great too!
