I have no problem with my guy checking out other girls. He rarely does it infront of me and when he does he is respectful about it. He usually points them out to me so I can look too. I have no problem with him looking at, talking to or hanging out with any women he wants cause I know who he is coming home to. He also gives me the same respect back. I would have a problem if I was trying to talk to him and he was to busy looking at a hot girl to pay attention or he was blatantly gawking at her and she was getting uncomfortable or something like that but, he would never do that. I would also have a problem with it if I asked him to stop and he didn't. That would be very disrespectful and is less about checking out the other girls and more about knowingly upseting the person you're with. When it comes down to it it's all about respect. If it bothers your SO that you check out other people in front of them don't do it. Just wait till he/she is not around than look all you want. But, given the insecurity that I'm feeling (as you so bluntly put it) and the fact that I have communicated this to him and that I am NOT asking him to stop looking but perhaps to tone it down a bit when I'm with him, well, a little respect for me would be mean that he would not "turn and gawk" at other women. And, again I don't mean look. I am totally aware of beautiful people out there and there are many. Oh, and I'm glad he likes women 'cause otherwise he would not be with me.
