paul87 0 #1 December 29, 2009 In Norway we now require that all riggs have AAD. Just as a warning to jumpers thinking of going jumping here."flying" is the most reasonable thing I ever done

piisfish 140 #4 December 29, 2009 QuoteI expect there will be the usual dispensation for visiting jumpers.look how it's done in other "full AAD" countries in Europe : "get an AAD in your rig or jump somewhere else". Sometimes there will be exceptions for specific activities (water swooping, CReW ...)scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

paul87 0 #9 December 30, 2009 The skydiving federation here does not have power over BASE jumping. A ADD in base? hell, most people do not even have a reserve chute.About Vigils, I do not know at the moment. I will talk to the federation and come back to you. But I know that my DZ have accepted visitors with Vigils. "flying" is the most reasonable thing I ever done
paul87 0 #10 January 2, 2010 I have now talked with the norwegian skydiving federation (F/NLF), and they say that Vigil AAD is allowed if the Vigil is approved in the country the skydiver lives. So if it is approved by your own federation, then you are more than welcome to jump hereSafe jumping everyone "flying" is the most reasonable thing I ever done
skypuppy 1 #11 January 2, 2010 I guess I won't be skydiving in Norway, then. Too bad. I might have enjoyed it.If some old guy can do it then obviously it can't be very extreme. Otherwise he'd already be dead. Bruce McConkey 'I thought we were gonna die, and I couldn't think of anyone
