Watch the video to "Don't Stop til you Get Enough" and you'll see Michael as Michael - NOT Jacko. Michael may be dead but he lives on through his music and his videos... mnealtx 0 #186 November 1, 2007 Quote Body-temperature thermometers made of glass with real mercury in them. It was fun to "accidentally" break them and play with the mercury. Well, *THAT* certainly explains a few things!! Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706

popsjumper 2 #188 November 1, 2007 Handcuffs...oh, wait...most of them see those nearly every day. Baking soda frogmen - geez, I had a lot of fun with those. Mickey Mantle rookie card - Yep, no lie, had one in early '55, a couple or three years after it was initially issued; keyword = had Bowman '51 (see pic). It lived a short life as a flapper-motor on my bike, I'm sure. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Action Jackson - an undersized GI Joe clone Pin Ball machines with real numbers. Not those pussy LEDs. Floppy disks the size of an LP. akarunway 1 #198 November 3, 2007 Quote I was thinking about things from my past that I used to see all the time that my kids will probably never actually see... Like a mimeograph. Who here remembers the smell of mimeograph paper? Ahhhhh... Or punch cards. Back in the day, my mom used to have a couple for Fedco and stuff. I can't even remember the last time I saw a Polaroid camera. And does anyone here remember BETA? Or rotary-dial phones? Or how freaking AWESOME the Atari 2600 was. Some of them don't have the happiest memories. Like 8 track tapes - they always clicked over during the good part of a song. Or those television antennae on the top of every home? Memories... How about this one?http://oldcomputers.net/c64.htmlI hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. Lastchance 0 #200 November 3, 2007 Does anybody out there remember party lines. I lived in a small ranching community of roughly 200 people and there were 3 to 6 people on every phone line which meant when you picked up your phone to make a call, chances were you were going to hear your neighbor gossiping about you to your other neighbor. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
