L.O. 0 #57 October 25, 2007 I wish I had a shot of my DZOs vette. His vette is a anniversary edition (76 I think) it is so custom, I don't think an original part remains. The engine in the current iteration, is a big block 544 cuin 8. He has the HP chart from the dyno and this naturally aspirated engine produces 750 HP. The thing would bend something every time he put his foot down so, he went with a custom 6-speed manual (good for 200+). Custom axles, so he could get bigger tires. custon fiberglass body, with a whale tail, to cover the bigger tires and engine. not much of the car is not billet. He competes at random times, in some not so legal road rallies. The guy loves his car and makes good use of it. you world teamers know the guy and his SO. Next time you see him as Bob S about his car. Betty White is her name.HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

Rick 67 #60 October 25, 2007 http://www.rogerscorvette.com/showroom.php this guy is one of my customers and I spend way to much time in his showroom when I go see him. It is amazing to me how many low mileage vettes he has at very reasonable pricesYou can't be drunk all day if you don't start early!
steveorino 7 #61 October 31, 2007 How would wheels like what is on this vette look? steveOrino
mccallj 0 #62 October 31, 2007 Don't do it. Id rather receive fellatio from a shark with rabies than drive a corvette.“Last week I helped my friend stay put. It's a lot easier than helping someone move. I just went over to his house and made sure that he did not start to load his shit into a truck.”
steveorino 7 #63 October 31, 2007 I've already bought the vette. I was just wondering on low profile wheels. steveOrino
normiss 850 #64 October 31, 2007 don't pimp it out THAT bad! stick with some classic looking wheels...and you prolly won't like the ride of low pro tires/wheels.
steveorino 7 #65 October 31, 2007 I wish I could "test" them. Most likely I will keep it stock ... just wondering. steveOrino
normiss 850 #66 October 31, 2007 I love aftermarket wheels...but on old hot rods and classics it's very challenging to find something that doesn't ruin the lines of the car...at least to me. I'm an old school motorhead though. old skool

normiss 850 #68 October 31, 2007 while the 289 winds up nice and fast...they work much better bored and stroked out to a 348...but only with the hi-po with 4 bolt mains..
warpedskydiver 0 #69 October 31, 2007 A 302CID chevy engine would leave it in the dust. Better yet is an aluminum block 350 if you could get your hands on one $$$$$$
normiss 850 #70 October 31, 2007 a bored and stroked 289 (now a 348) will eat the 303/307 all day long. Chevy products piss me off...only product that will vary fasteners from one side of the engine to the other.
stitch 0 #71 October 31, 2007 Quote I've already bought the vette. I was just wondering on low profile wheels. Actually, I thought it looked pretty sweet and with the low profile tires, it would be hard for Slammer to bite those.
