Some of you are familiar with my GROSSLY disfunctional family....

Well, my pregnant niece (18), her water broke yesterday @ 30 weeks. That makes her about 2 months premature. I wouldn't be overally concerned if it was a normal pregnancy - I won't go into details - just know that there is risk involved and I'm concerned for her and the baby's health.

I haven't been able to get in touch with any of my family in AZ to get an update on the status this morning.

Please send some vibes to my niece in Phoenix for a healthy baby and easy delivery.

Finally got in touch with my Mom... Turned out she had a tear in the sac, and after putting her on bed rest and meds the tear sealed itself. She is now on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy. Guess she was pretty shaken, and should be released from the hospital late today or early tomorrow.

Well, my lil Grand Niece could not wait! She was born 3lb 11oz. Both baby and mommy appear to be doing well, although the baby will be staying in the NICU for a while. I'm trying to get my paws on a picture - can't wait to see the lil pumpkin!!!
