DFWAJG 4 #1 October 20, 2007 So I returned to work this week, unusually calm after my cutaway in Elsinore. I'm usually pretty excitable after a workday when I'm covering the CTC (the mini-psych hospital in the prison). Actually, I'm usually quite angry. You see, the CTC is a popular place for all of the ad-seg guys to hang out in to do some easier time. When they want a single cell, or want to get out of a "115" (rules violation), they claim suicide, and I have to take care of them. I'm always weeding through a lot of bull shitters and it gets frustrating because I want to treat someone with a real illness. These guys are usually pretty gamey and can be a real pain in the ass, wasting my time and tax payers dollars on milking the system. This week, though, everything seemed to roll right off my back. I think I need a cutaway more often.

squirrel 0 #12 October 20, 2007 Quote50 bucks! Cost me $110. damn Southern California. woah...where you getting your reserve repacked? we usually do elsinore, 60 dollars now...that 50 dollar reserve ride was a few years ago. more that 60 though if it is a rush job. but then looking at my paper work....there is a separate charge for "pilot emergency repack" is this the pilot chute on the reserve, and, is it not requred to be repacked on a date mandated reserve repack? ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? DFWAJG 4 #13 October 21, 2007 Cut away, and repacked at Elsinore. You may be looking at my slip! $35 for the emergency repack, $10 to untangle the damn thing. it was pricey. But to live to tell about it was worth it!
