skybytch 273 #1 October 16, 2007 My English comp class got out 40 minutes early tonight. Not because the teacher was feeling generous or anything like that. Because a bomb threat was called in for the building. They let us know immediately; we quietly packed up our stuff and left the building. I'd already walked a half a block away by the time the first police car arrived (lights, no siren). Haven't heard an explosion yet so hopefully it was just a prank. So how was your Monday? I didn't get to close my classroom until 20 minutes after the regular 9:30 P.M. time because one of the students needed some extra help on the VOR Navigation assignment in the simulator lab I teach! Then I had to be back at the airport this morning for my first flight with an IFR student and finished up @ 7:30 p.m. with another IFR student. Blue Skies!
