I always carry a supply of Percodan and Morphine. Ive been using Percs for about 35 years. I don't get a "high" from it now, but did when I first started using it.

I also use Meloxicam for the massive arthritis through my legs, ankles and feet.

It really depends on what I need them for. I had a headache about 2 weeks ago that lasted several days and the only thing that worked was naproxen- (rx strength Aleve.) When I broke my leg, the vicodins worked just fine- even better with a glass of wine and a little herbal therapy.

Percocet does not do a damn thing for me and Vicodin makes me sick. What works for me is Fioricet mixed with Phenergan. It's weird because
Fioricet is not as powerful as percocet, yet percocet does nothing.

I think I've had Fioricet for migraines in the past and it worked great. Sounds familiar anyway!

In the hospital for my ankle, morphine made me sick, demerol made me sleepy without doing anything for my pain, and fentinol worked like a charm.

Gotta love the responses you get when asking skydivers about pain meds!
