SimonBones 1 #1 October 11, 2007 Alright, could use a little help here... Just pulled some laundry out of my dryer to find that a pen was in one of my pockets and exploded everywhere. A lot of white shirts/socks/boxers were in there that now have ink spots all over them How do I fix this? I washed them again regular and it didn't help. Any odd things to throw in with the wash that will fix it?108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

Elisha 1 #3 October 11, 2007 OxyClean or better yet, bleach. Sorry, but this is a difficult one. Sucks.
ladyskydiver 0 #4 October 11, 2007 Get some OxyClean and make a paste of it. Then apply it to the ink spots and allow to sit overnight. Next morning, wash it and viola! spots should have disappeared. Not that I'd have any direct knowledge of this, of course. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. cjsgrlsx3 0 #5 October 11, 2007 Simon, you will have to buy new shirts! And wash the lining of you dryer with a magic eraser. Once it is dried it is set in!
monkycndo 0 #6 October 11, 2007 If it is all whites, try didi seven. It worked great on the whites "ruined" when I didn't see the ink pen in the dryer I used at the laundromat. It works on some colored clothes. Make sure to test in a non visible spot. Hell, if it does remove the color, do the whole garment. Now it will be one of the whites. 50 donations so far. I guess I should have thought of that one sooner. By the looks of things, it's set. It does look kind of cool to have all these inky spotty patterns all over the inside of my dryer though. Like an ink tiger camouflaged by my inky clothes... What do you mean by magic eraser though?108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
cjsgrlsx3 0 #10 October 12, 2007 A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It will clean all the ink out of the dryer without having to add chemicals to it that will smell when the dryer is turned on again. Too bad it won't work to get the stains out of those T-Shirts.
