lippy 918 #1 September 27, 2007 I reinstalled Windows XP on my Thinkpad R51 about a month ago. I use this comp for music where I work and since I reinstalled Windows it's kinda sketchy...Every once in a while the comp will just stop in it's tracks for all process, and also the music will stop for a second, then pick up again, which is really fucking annoying. If I'm looking at Task Manager in processes, the image name 'system' belonging to system is taking up all the CPU for the second when things lock up. I think I've got all of hte necessary drivers from llenova and I think I'm spyware free. Defrag didn't help, I've downloaded and run a reputable registry cleaner which got rid of a bunch of shit, but still the same.
