bob.dino 1 #27 September 24, 2007 Quote... I'd still pick the Sky Van ahead of that. They break down too much. Super Otter. Reliable, fast, safe, bulletproof. Caravan & 750XL are significantly cheaper to run though.

diablopilot 2 #30 September 24, 2007 QuoteI was going to include the 182 option. But, I wanted to include the airplanes that could go to 14 grand. But, if you like a 182....that's cool. Been in a C182 to 15K. I like the PAC750XL, and the standard Caravan.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. RedKite 1 #32 September 24, 2007 The Otter from that list.....think the Turbolet 410, Beaver and PAC750 might have pulled a few votes if they had been included although Skyvans ARE special as is a 182 from 3K on a cold frosty morning!!! bodypilot90 0 #34 September 24, 2007 I hate the pac, would take a caravan over a pac any day with a full load. Am I the only one, Pac's are fast but cramped. But give me a otter or a skyvan or a skyvan any day.

skybytch 273 #42 September 24, 2007 QuoteAm I the only one, Pac's are fast but cramped. I'll take cramped for 15 minutes over cramped for 20+ anytime... a PAC with 15 is no worse than an Otter with 23. I love the PAC. So much that if they were all lined up on the fliteline I'd choose it over any other jump plane. The only thing a PAC isn't good for is big way RW exits; it's hard for the last 5 or 6 to get a tight exit. But it's great for practicing your long dive if you go close to last on a 10+ way. bodypilot90 0 #43 September 24, 2007 Is 15 a full load? I sware we had 16 in ours, i could be wrong. Then you have never been all the way in the back with a full load. Give me a cramped real plane to that toy they call a pac
skybytch 273 #44 September 24, 2007 QuoteThen you have never been all the way in the back with a full load. Yeah I have, several times. With three of my closest friends squeezed on the floor with me. - as long as they aren't big guys it's not so bad. And I've been in the copilot seat when it used to run with 17 (17 in a PAC does suck). A full load is usually 14 at Davis.

warpedskydiver 0 #46 September 24, 2007 Just save your pennies for slightly used but well cared for C-130 What is time to altitude?Unless you would not like having so much room, and speed to altitude.Tell me nobody would want to jump from that! It would be the boogie plane from heaven. You just have to make sure it has a full load to pay for the fuel

Amazon 7 #48 September 24, 2007 Quote Just part with your cash and buy a fucking otter. That is the plane of choice. Stop being cheap But they are soooo slow....even with -34.... Now.. when you throw a -27 or a -34 in a Porter.....now THAT is a ride10 or 11 minutes to 15 or 16k with 8 of your friends.
idrankwhat 0 #49 September 24, 2007 From the list, super otter. From my list: 1) Casa 2) PAC 750 3) Super otter P.S. But if you upgrade the speakers on the PAC, I might move it to the top slot!
