Where's the CASA choice????? :S[:/]:S

Why would you want a casa, you need 2 pilkots more fuel and they suck for time to altitude. They are great for CRW thats about it oh and tandems

They are also great for big ways, especially launching the base as the lead plane.

I was going to include the 182 option. But, I wanted to include the airplanes that could go to 14 grand. But, if you like a 182....that's cool.

Been in a C182 to 15K.

I like the PAC750XL, and the standard Caravan.

Skyvans are nice but, hard to find.

Not for me, I just have to go to my home dz! I thought you were just asking as a general question, I didn't know you were looking to purchase a plane.

Yep, pretty much the only time you can really fly higher than the plane right after exit! :D

Am I the only one, Pac's are fast but cramped.

I'll take cramped for 15 minutes over cramped for 20+ anytime... a PAC with 15 is no worse than an Otter with 23.

I love the PAC. So much that if they were all lined up on the fliteline I'd choose it over any other jump plane.

The only thing a PAC isn't good for is big way RW exits; it's hard for the last 5 or 6 to get a tight exit. But it's great for practicing your long dive if you go close to last on a 10+ way.

Then you have never been all the way in the back with a full load.

Yeah I have, several times. With three of my closest friends squeezed on the floor with me. - as long as they aren't big guys it's not so bad. And I've been in the copilot seat when it used to run with 17 (17 in a PAC does suck).

A full load is usually 14 at Davis.

Just save your pennies for slightly used but well cared for C-130

What is time to altitude?B|

Unless you would not like having so much room, and speed to altitude.:S

Tell me nobody would want to jump from that!

It would be the boogie plane from heaven.

You just have to make sure it has a full load to pay for the fuel[:/]

Just part with your cash and buy a fucking otter. That is the plane of choice. Stop being cheap

But they are soooo slow....even with -34....

Now.. when you throw a -27 or a -34 in a Porter.....now THAT is a ride:P

10 or 11 minutes to 15 or 16k with 8 of your friends.
