You know I have no clue what a project manager does, but it you have the qualifications and want to live near DC shoot me a PM and I'll get you the details. To be honest I could use the 5k bonus.

DC and shoot in the same sentence dosent seam to be a positive thing :D

Being a PM is easy it's all know how to sort out thoes who are BSing you and how to BS the next lovel up :ph34r: opps I'm giving trade secerets away.

There's different PM disciplines... IT PM, Construction PM, Event PMs, etc. what discipline?
Then, there's PM's by "title" and PMs by "certification" or education (one can get a Master's in PM).
Then there's standards-based certifications and competency-based certifications.
Some positions require certification, some education +certification.
If you really need a PM, one of your best sources would be the Project Management Institute that has a classifieds section.

Job Description:
Serves as a Project Manager (PM) for a project that includes subsidiary projects/tasks in support application infrastructure within the DOL contract in Washington, DC.


Responsibilities:
Works with the Federal PM and other contractor PMs on assigned projects applying project management best practices, techniques and tools to ensure successful completion of the projects.
Incumbents will be required to ensure adherence to approved policies, procedures, methodologies, and standards through all phases of the Project Management Life Cycle.



Experience/Education:
Experience managing Information Technology related projects
Experience with Microsoft Project 2000 or 2003 Professional
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of project management processes, procedures, tools, techniques and methodologies.
Hold current certification as a Project Management, Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Advance Project Management Certification (f0r example a Masters Certification from a University or other organization)
Good Oral and written communications skills and the ability to prepare clear, well-written documents such as procedures, analysis, and operation guides.
Ability to work with other team leads, as a member of a team and with customers.

Job Description:
Mission Controller to support the Space Test and Engineering Contract (STEC):
Mission Controller performs a variety of activities associated with the analysis of both ground operational systems and spacecraft operational systems. Position participates on projects, in addition to supporting user and customer interface meetings, exercises, and rehearsals.




Responsibilities:
The planning, support, and to conduct operations for orbital space systems, ballistic missiles, upper stages, launch vehicles, and other special test activities.
The establishment, implementation, and maintenance of standardized operating procedures.
The issuance of instructions to and coordination with appropriate elements of the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN), other government organizations, or commercial organizations.
The accomplishment of conflict resolution that to supports the acquisition, tracking, commanding, control, and telemetry data acquisition for space vehicles.
The accomplishment of mission data reduction and analysis and data delivery to the customers.
The accomplishment of long-term trending of vehicle telemetry and notification to the government of these trends that indicate potential vehicle problems.
The accomplishment of mission and pre-pass planning, scheduling, orbit analysis and orbit product generation functions, as well as the required coordination to achieve contact success.
The accomplishment of real-time evaluation of spacecraft, payload, and ground systems status in accordance with established mission requirements.
The accomplishment of real-time trend analysis that includes but is not limited to, the identification of anomalous conditions.
Providing initial troubleshooting of operational problems, assisting in determination of root causes, documentation of these problems, and participates in corrective and prevention activities.
Issuing commands, directives, and other instructions to fixed, deployable, and mobile-tracking stations within specified timelines.
The development and implementation of commanding, tracking, and telemetry pre-pass tests.
Conducting post-pass critiques with tracking stations and other real-time support work centers and participate in technical meetings.
The maintaining of daily activity logs, that provides an accurate summary of operations and maintenance events.
The maintenance of data, historical files and logs of operational support provided, as well as report contact statistics daily.
The accomplishment of operational testing on Customer Workload assets, Core Operations assets in support of Core System upgrades. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and preparation, operation of the equipment, database validation, performance evaluations, and suitability assessments.
The development and review of test plans and procedures.
Works shifts to support 24/7/365 day operations



Experience/Education:
Position requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Excellent oral and written communications and personal interaction skills required to work in the "Gray Badge" team environment
Prior use of AFSCN
3 years experience in Satellite Systems Operations
TDRSS experience in mission planning
Experience in operating multiple satellite families
Ideal candidate with be a certified operator of DOD and/or NRO programs
Familiarity with PAP, SAT and MOSAT
BS in an engineering discipline e.g., Aerospace Engineering and EE
Working knowledge of Microsoft toolset including

Job Description:
Role Players provide support to the MI Counterintelligence Agent Course, Military Intelligence Interrogator Course, the Counterintelligence Force Protection Source Operations Course, Human Intelligence Collector, Counterintelligence Agent, Phase 2 Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course (BNCOC).


Responsibilities:
8-12 exercises per year.
Normal hours of operation varies.
The hours can change contingent upon the needs of the Army.
Provide role player support in a variety of field and garrison locations and during typical as well as adverse weather conditions at Ft. Huachuca.
Must adhere to all applicable regulations.
Will receive feedback on performance evaluations and inspections by the BN designated representatives, student evaluations, and comments. NOT INSTRUCTORS!
May be required to wear garments necessary to enhance the realism of their role.



Experience/Education:
Qualifications must show they possess experience as a role player or former experience with US military service and possess in the interpersonal and social skills to effectively relate this knowledge to students and interacting with other people.
Must be US citizen. Must be over 18 years of age.
