PLFXpert 0 #3 April 13, 2007 A lot of us do. There are many threads regarding the subject if you "search posts". Yes, it's definitely amazing! For me, there's nothing more peaceful. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
Nikki_vZ 0 #4 April 13, 2007 I've noticed that a lot of skydivers i've spoken to scuba dive as well
ladyflyer77 0 #5 April 13, 2007 diving is awesome. I have my open water cert. I did my check dives down in Key West. The water is so warm down there. My favorite places in FL are the keys or Boca Raton. You can dive with the dolphins and check out ships that have Grouper larger than some cars. The down side to diving is similar to jumping. The shit you need is expensive. If I stand on my tip toes, I can see the weekend from here!
Tonto 1 #6 April 13, 2007 I do. I'm a much more experienced skydiver though. tIt's the year of the Pig.

narcimund 0 #9 April 13, 2007 Quote I was just wondering. I want to do it, I think it would be amazing Check. The cold waters of BC are beautiful. It's maybe a bit more of an adventure than warm water diving but not as much so as you'd think. First Class Citizen Twice Over
arai 0 #10 April 13, 2007 yep, got my advanced open water a few years ago. I did my training in drysuits in BC, and it makes all the warm water destinations seem like a breeze. The ocean definitely holds some amazing sights.

I was wondering whay my instructor (I was 16) was telling me not to jump out of any planes right after a dive - I was like - ummm - OK - I don't see that ever being a problem. . . I was SO WRONG . . . I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

SLIDER 0 #13 April 13, 2007 I've been a Scuba Diver for quite some time and hold quite a few ratings including Instructor. I actually have more scuba dives than skydives but I'm working to change that. I'd be happy answer any questions you've got about Scuba. Underwater, everything’s calm, peaceful, and quiet…unless you’re in the middle of a shark feeding frenzy. It can become an expensive hobby though. How can I be so thirsty when I drank so much last night? Darius11 12 #25 April 13, 2007 I have done a few dives and will be getting certified this summer. I find it even more exhilarating then skydiving in some ways.
