ACMESkydiver 0 #1 August 31, 2007 Post up, sweeties! I hadn't gone to the gym or exercised in 3 days, and it's killing me!!! I'm just taking time enough to post this thread, then I'm over to my treadmill for 30 minutes for my a.m. cardio (yeah I'm late, but I still haven't eaten, so it'll burn the extra fat I'm carrying around, right?! It's been tough trying to manage this on will-power alone lately. One slip with high-sugar/carb foods and all of those cravings come back, and it is a FIGHT to try to get back to the no-hunger stage again... The twins' birthday party last night had some delicious gluten free/dairy free deserts and McD's, so I avoided the McD's and had a tiny piece of cake. I'm making better choices, so I'm not gaining any weight back, just not losing since I haven't been working out like I need to. Anyhoo, how are y'all doin'? Lastly, I have actually looked into buying a Hoodia plant...a real LIVE one, not the pills...just because I don't trust what manufacturers say they are putting in their pills. It is a succulent, not an actual cactus...I think it will do ok in my master bath, where I am growing my aloe vera (thanks to the scar thread!! ) and a Christmas cactus and a tropical spikey plant...any thoughts? I struggle with appetite control, particularly when stress hits. I like to do things as natural as possible...~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. sweetjava77 0 #3 August 31, 2007 Try the President's Challenge www.presidentschallenge.org It's a good way to keep accountability of what you've done. You could even start a program for all skydivers! Faith

Nightingale 0 #5 August 31, 2007 I lost a pound, but probably gained it back with the patty melt and fries from Carl's Jr that I had for lunch today (my dad informed me that I had a new job and it was mandatory to celebrate by "not eating any of that bunny food crap"). tigra 0 #7 September 1, 2007 I've lost about 2. I'm seeing and feeling a difference since I started doing more strength training and a little less cardio. I signed up for more personal training sessions but I haven't been able to work out with my trainer for over 2 weeks. I'm doing OK on my own, though! This weekend will be a challenge- it will be tough to squeeze in a workout, plus I've got at least 2 parties/ barbecues to go to and DZ time, which means beer! And Jaye- quit skipping breakfast! That's the most important meal of the day!

Well if you weren't so popular, you wouldn't be getting invited to all these BBQ's and such & it would be easier to stick to your diet! Quote And Jaye- quit skipping breakfast! That's the most important meal of the day! No no, I'm not SKIPPING it! I'm just s'posed to try and do the cardio when I first wake up, THEN eat the breakfast. Lately, I've been swamped with stuff to do right after I first wake up, so I end up waiting to eat until I get the cardio in. Then I only got it in twice in the last several days anyhoo! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

Its not so much popular- all these "events" just seem to happen at the same time on weekends when I actually might otherwise be able to make some jumps! Its a conspiracy or something! Between my whuffo family and the SO's, its a wonder I've made any jumps at all this year!
