ntacfreefly 0 #1 June 27, 2006 Sweet, I was just notified that the large KA demo's are shipping out this week. I've not had a chance to look, or jump, the bigger ones so those that do jump them please post your experiences - I'm really curious what people think of them. AggieDave 6 #2 June 27, 2006 I'll let you know probalby week after next. I'll have one of those demos this weekend, I think, but I have a swoop comp so it'll be the weekend after when I really get to put some jumps on it.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Bring it anyway, i need a larger canopy to jump and i have experience on an XF2 at the same loading you do. I'll jump it for you and then you won't need to. Cloudi 0 #5 June 27, 2006 Guess who owes beer AggieDave?? You were the first person I contacted...I like Pacifico or Newcastle... They are in a couple of our "purdy" new stock colors, too. AggieDave 6 #9 June 28, 2006 I could jump the VX 114 demo I've got or perhaps borrow that new Velo 120 that's on my DZ. Having 600+ jumps on a canopy is a nice safety net. I'm comfy with it and I know exactly what I can and more importantly, what I can't do with the canopy. Even though I have to fight much harder to place well with my giant-non-crossbraced and fairly lightly loaded (compared to everyone else in the comp) canopy. Oh well, next season I'll have something that's more efficent, faster, shinier and with that new canopy smell (until I jump the snot out of it during the winter).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." I was on the Xfire before the KA. You should really give it some consideration at a competition canopy for the CPC. It dives like a banshee and the riser pressure is even lighter than the Xfire. Now once you are out of the CPC, perhaps you will NEED a Velo to stay up, but for now......the Katana will do just fine. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate..... I'm holding my own with my XF2 right now, but if I had something faster and more efficent I should be able to do better. Since my best now doesn't even touch some of the other's half-assed runs due to canopies and wingloadings.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Vectracide 0 #12 June 28, 2006 That speed course must be a bitch with a 150. On the other hand, you should be able to smoke them boys in the accuracy. My Xfire shuts down like no other. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
