From the picture, they look like the standard clay chips with a metal insert. You can pick up a case for under $100. I would say that a 100 dollar poker chip set is very nice. I personally don't have an EXTRA 100 to give away to any passers by . . . Really? I wouldn't. I'm not saying that it doesn't suck balls that the chip set was stolen, because it does. This is a "VERY" nice poker chip set (well, to me). http://www.pokersupply.com/1000carpaulson.html Let me add that I can't really justify spending that much on poker chips, but that's what *I* consider a very nice set. \ I guess if you can think it up they will put a price tag for as much as someone will pay for it . . . 1000 for a poker chip set is - just a little - too much.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

A foam lined, locking metal case filled with clay chips, cards, dice, etc. No...not the $1000 set you posted. But should it matter how "nice" they were? Nice is in the eye of the beholder. I am on a budget. I shouldn't have to go out and replace things I already owned just because someone else is an asshole and decided that they deserved MY chip set more than I did. And they weren't laying out in the open. To get to the case, the person had to dig under the rear bench seat, pull everything out from in front of the case. I should have a right to keep what I want in MY vehicle that was sitting in MY driveway. Instead, I've now had to remove anything/everything that I might need, but that someone else might decide to steal. And hopefully, I'll remember to but those same important items BACK into the truck when I travel next. I admitted on my very first post that it could've been a LOT worse. But that doesn't make me feel any better. Nor any more secure at night. Now in addition to the material things that I've lost, I'm losing sleep. I hear a vehicle door slam shut...I wonder if it's mine. I hear a dog bark....I wonder if it's a dog barking at someone breaking into the truck again. Perhaps I am being a bit paranoid at the moment, but I'm still a little bit freaked out by the whole thing. Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? Conundrum 1 #78 August 29, 2007 Whoa, calm down. I said that it was fucked up they got stolen, regardless how "nice" or "not nice" they were.
