But unless I just happen to fall in love with a car that just happens to be a manual transmission, I don't see myself ever buying one. Other than backing it up, what's the big deal about driving a trailer? I don't recall ever having to "learn" how to do that, even after I was driving with a manual. OTOH, I had a bitch of a time learning to simply drive with a stick shift (when I was in my early 20's). I guess these things are different for different people. It depends on the length of the trailer you're pulling. I doubt you could just hop in a big rig with a 53' trailer and not need practice. But who knows.
