7th straight day over 100 degrees today, and probably 5 more days of this to come. We're gonna smash the record of consecutive days over 100! Woo hoo!!

Yeah, two things, Number 1, why did you wait until I got there to break a record>:( and Number 2, didn't you set a record while we were together 10 years ago???;)

I still can't believe that Skymama said that...:)

Hey don't blame me, blame mama nature! :D And yeah we did set a small record at your old DZ 10 years ago. Of all the things you can remember, you remember that one. :S:D:)
Check your PMs, I got a funny story to tell... :)

Talk about hot . . . .

"Intense heat caused an elementary school playground in Arlington, Texas, to literally burst into flames last week."

When playgrounds are spontaneously combusting - now, _that's_ hot.

Not sure what makes wood chips just burst in flames, it was only 99 degrees there.

It hit 104 today here and my yard's bone dry. Now we've tied the record for the most consecutive days of highs in the 100s with 8. Going for the record breaker tomorrow! ;)

Damn, I grew up in Arlington. Didn't look like South Davis Elementary where I went, though. But 99 degrees isn't that hot down there. I remember hotter days when I was a kid. :S

Yup... I moved from Wisconsin (80's - low 90's summers) to Texas during the 76 heat wave... i thought I was going to melt into a puddle on the pavement!!

I saw a reporter put tin foil with cookie dough on it on a car dashboard and it cooked. You should do that, it's much more tasty!

>Not sure what makes wood chips just burst in flames, it was only 99 degrees there.

Combination of decomposition and high temperatures.

Went to the beach yesterday; was very nice. Water temps are in the 70's. We're too close to the coast to get temps over 90 or so.

Billy come and work with me for a week, then complain about the ac at your house

Did I say I was complaining about my AC??? It works just fine dude. Thank God too... I keep it set at 78. ;) Just enough to be comfortable without busting the electric bill.

Not even the rain cools it off.:(
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama
