It's a scorcher today!

Took this pic of the thermometer reading, and it was only 11 am! :S It's now almost 2:30 pm and it's gone up to 104 now. Another new record...

Hooray!!! If it's gonna be hot, might as well break some records right???

I don't trust those vehicle thermometers as how can they tell the temp when they have to be located on the car, which is usually warmer than the air depending.

They are close enough though, and that one looks to be probably about right.

Looking forward to my run later today.:|

I figured the best time to check was before starting up the engine. :P I wonder where the sensor is located anyways? It'd have to be shielded from the sun, I'm sure.

I'm thinking of moving to the desert as it is still 108 here at almost 5pm. I figure AZ at least has less humidity.

Oh, and there is no way I'm going back outside to take a pic for ya'll. Just trust me on this on...it's hot as hell

I hate it when you have to change your bra and underwear halfway through the day when you haven't even been outside that much. All I did was run errands, get gas, unload groceries, stuff like that and I was soaked! :S

It's kind of overcast with a high of 66 degrees here. Hoping it gets better for the weekend as we need to practice some big ways to get ready for the Leap For Lupus!

Don't forget to tell them about all the rain we've been having:ph34r:

Man after all day Wed and Thursday (yeah, I ended up spending an extra day in Birmingham) working outside, in the heat, in a trailer and in the middle of a concrete parking lot, well I thought I knew what hot was, but THAT was just plain old hot. :S:S

Of course, it wasn't nearly as hot as Skymama talking about being soaked and her panties and bra...:o:)

I really can't believe she wrote that...:P:D

I spent yesterday afternoon on a lake fixing a generator in a little steel box that's been sitting in 100+ degree temperatures for months. When I fired up the generator and kicked in the AC my coveralls damb near froze stiff:S

Helena had 24 days in july above 95 and 11 days above 100. The hottest month on record. It has finally cooled down to the 80's and we are actually dropping into the 50's at night. The fires around here are finally being somewhat contained. Today I can actually see the mountains around us clearly for the first time in over three weeks. I have never seen it so smoky around here in my life. I feel like I'm smoking again. The fire seasons around here seem to be getting worse every year. Maybe global warming is real.

I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

7th straight day over 100 degrees today, and probably 5 more days of this to come. We're gonna smash the record of consecutive days over 100! Woo hoo!! B|

It helps if you don't run through the neighbors sprinklers while you are running errands:ph34r::P

Yeah, two things, Number 1, why did you wait until I got there to break a record>:( and Number 2, didn't you set a record while we were together 10 years ago???;)

I still can't believe that Skymama said that...:)
